Setting Up Category Weights

If you want to set up Category weights continue on this page, If you want to set up Tests as 60% of your grade, homework as 20% etc. then do this. If you just want to go with straight points then don't set up Category Weight.

Setting Up Category Weights

1. Open Grade Book
2. Click on Grade Setup
3. Double Click on Q1
4. Click on Category Weights
5. Click on (+) add category
6. Check all the boxes of the categories you want to add
7. Click on the Weight Column and then type in the different weights (percentages) for your Categories (they should add up to a 100)
8. Click on Save
9. then click on the Copy button and Copy this to Q2, Q3 and Q4
